My fat PS3 has the Yellow Light of Death and I’m getting a new one, but is there a way to transfer my memory to the new ps3?
no you cant transfer the data if it doesnt work. You could try to fix it yourself and transfer the data through a ethernet cable to the new slim but you need the 2 systems side by side.
I was in the same exact situation as you, lol. You’ll need to fix your YLOD PS3, and then transfer over the data using an Ethernet cable. It can’t be transferred unless both systems are working
