Is the ps3 actually capable of playing crysis on high settings with above 45 fps at least?

If the ps3 is capable of playing crysis then why isnt there a ps3 version of crysis. So basically is the ps3 capable of playing crysis at high settings with above 45 fps+.
The PS3 specs can be looked up online. It is capable of playing games like Crysis with ease, I mean… look at games for it now like Resistance 2 and RE5. There is a whole LOT of action on screen and the PS3 doesn’t even stutter.
The rendering capability is more than enough to run Crysis smoothly. Unfortunately Crysis was made by a company with little or no ties to Sony so I’d imagine that is why there is no PS3 version. There just isn’t a demand for it.
