Nice video, but at 0:28 you can see how unrealistic Madden is. Both linemen could’ve easily gotten to the defensive guy, but they do their funny looking shuffle towards the defensive lineman instead of actually running, which I bet real people would do if their QB was about to get sacked.

I disagree Texas longhorn I run a 46 and average 2 picks a game. If you play that defense with the Steelers or Ravens it can be destructive force. Ed Reed and Troy shut the pass game down all day. Blitzes come from anywhere if you stay discpline you can shut opponents down.

I hate the 46 defense. If any of you guys are playing online and I see that I am not going to run the ball I am just going to throw it deep. Don’t try that defense on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd down long situation or you will get beat deep for TOUCHDOWN!!!
The defense I use is Mutiple D. This is a good blitzing D and confuses the offensive line and the QB. The bad thing about it is that sometimes their is one man not covered. To prevent this you should use a SS or LB as a spy so they can watch out for the guy. I didn’t know you could create your own playbook in Madden 10.

I would have thrown it to LB right away. I always scan from left to right.
its any 3-4 d that blitzes only the left outside LB lol not complicated
thats a good play but a smart player always looks at that outside linebacker to see where hes positioned in order to hit a quick fade or out route to the slot receiver
