I have Madden 08 for PS3 and the online game i was playing was very slow, has it happened to anyone else?

I was trying to play a game online and it was very slow it kept lagging and i couldnt even stand to play it anymore because it was like playing in slow motion. Does anyone else experience this or is it just a bad connection or something. Whats the problem?
Its probably just your network problem. You can try rebooting it and try again later.
Every now and then that happens. If it happens all the time, your internet connection is messed up. It rarely happens to me, and it totally ruins the game.
