Will I be able to play a ps2 Madden game online on a ps3?

The ps3 version of madden sucks (so stiff and robotic) but the ps2 version is solid, so I want to play the ps2 version instead. So if i got a ps3, would i be able to go online and play other people who have the ps2 version?
Also, if you’re familiar with both madden versions, do you agree with me?
And will there be other people to play? or do people not normally play ps2 games online?
well you will be able to play online if your ps3 has ps2 capability. 60 GB ps3s and some 80GB ps3s has that future.

Yes you can, assuming you have a PS3 that plays PS2 games.
The only thing wrong with the PS3 version is it doesn’t have all the franchise ownership features the PS2 version has.
HHH is almost correct. What you really need is to download the ps2 network adaptor emulator thing.
This will allow you to play ps2 game online.
You will find it in the playstation store.
I believe you can. But I am not sure. Why not call the local video game store and find out.
in the end you will be better off just buying a ps2 to play ps2 games on . the ps2 emulator is garbage and it may take you hours waiting to download it if the servers are crowded . and on emulator your ps2 games will not be 100% working as they are on a reg ps2 .
