They slow it down because befor every game was too arcade feeling. And as far as borrow ideas from 2k4 because 2k5 didnt at all look like this, Is not a big thing hell games steal stuff from other games all the time.

Im getting this game for sure
they need to start adding some new innovative features to Franchise mode to make it a more realistic NFL simulation. Assistant coaches should be able to give you insight to what the opposition is going to do during certain plays just like in real life.
You should also be able to prepare for your upcoming opponent by focusing on certain fields of play…maybe focus on your DBs to give them a ratings boost the week you face the Cardinals for example.
